The Insure Montana program will end on December 31, 2015. For the last decade, Montana's small business owners have been lining up to utilize this popular program, which helps make health insurance for their employees more affordable.
The Montana State Auditor’s Office went to the legislative session with a Montana solution to secure the future of this program, and it passed the legislature with strong bipartisan support. Unfortunately, it was vetoed by the governor and we were prohibited from overiding the veto due to the timing of the veto during the legislature’s early adjournment.
