Eligibility

You may be eligible for participation in the Insure Montana Program if your business meets the following requirements:

A Business/Employer Must:

Have between 2-9 eligible employees. (An eligible employee is one that works the required number of hours as set by the employer, which may be between 20-40 hours per week, and an employee who has satisfied the waiting period established by the employer.)  All eligibility standards must be applied uniformly.

Not be paying any employee $75,000 in gross wages per year from this business or a related business. (excluding owners)

An Employee Must:

Not be being paid more than $75,000 in gross wages per year from this business or any related business.
